The poll shows widespread awareness and concern about global warming and our future, which will hopefully lead to more widespread action against it. I think global warming is a very serious issue, and it has always bothered me that many people are unwilling to put it second to issues that to me not as important to the entire human race. There should be more governmental regulation of greenhouse gas emissions, and I think it is a positive step that more and more people are supporting that. Although that could slow climate change, it could also have the negative consequence of leading to government regulation of other aspects of business, leading to a less free market. In addition, I think that education on the causes and effects should become more of a priority in schools worldwide. That would allow for support for proactive policy to slow global warming in the future.
